Creating Profiles

You can save groups of processes as profiles, which you can run again on similar images.

Example: Curt uses PhotoDocs to capture receipts. He configures a profile that includes Auto-Rotate, Crop, and OCR optimized for English characters and Accuracy mode. He applies this profile to all his receipts.

When the processes that make up an existing profile are selected, the name of that profile will appear in the profiles list. You can also create new profiles by modifying existing profiles or by starting from scratch.

To create a new profile by modifying an existing profile

  1. Select an existing profile.
  2. In the process toolbar, change the selected circles representing one or more processes.
  3. The name of the profile will change to a Save current profile link. Click Save current profile.
  4. Optional: You can overwrite the original profile by selecting or specifying the same name.

To create a new profile from scratch

  1. Select New profile. This will clear any selected circles in the process toolbar.
  2. Select circles in the process toolbar representing one or more processes.
  3. Click Save Current Profile.
